Free Download Manager (FDM) is a full featured download manager that speeds up download times by splitting the download into multiple simultaneously downloaded parts, allowing you to maximize the potential of your Internet connection. It allows you to categorize your files, schedule downloads for later (with dial-up support), and to adjust download speed to use as little or much bandwidth as needed. The download features can be integrated with Internet Explorer, or optionally activated by drag and drop into a drop basket icon. In addition to file downloads, FDM includes a site manager to browse public FTP sites or web sites by their structure, as well as a web site downloader that allows you to save entire (or partial) web sites to your disk. Overall, a very promising download manager with a good set of features.
